Canon Japan have made the unusual announcement that they're running low on stock for the EF70-200mm F2.8L IS II USM lens. Higher than expected sales after underestimating their market has brought on an apology. There are no details on what delays are to be expected if sales continue in the same fashion, but for the moment it appears most retailers around town still have units.
