GE fuses style and simplicity with Create by Jason Wu camera collection

GE has unveiled the Create by Jason Wu collection – a unique line of point-and-shoot compact cameras resulting from its exclusive collaboration with acclaimed fashion designer Jason Wu.

Available in a variety of on-trend shades, as well as the choice of metal or leather finishes, Create by Jason Wu is inspired by Jason’s love of luxurious detail and timeless style. Wu is the 27-year-old designer who has gained international recognition for dressing First Lady Michelle Obama and celebrities including Diane Kruger, Natalie Portman and Drew Barrymore, among others. To be distributed by Tasco Sales Australia, the GE Create by Jason Wu collection will be available in stores from June.

The GE Create by Jason Wu collection offers one-touch operation to take pictures, record videos and easily delete photos, eliminating the need to navigate through cumbersome menus and screens. Compatibility and connectivity issues have also been resolved with a built-in memory and retractable USB connector for convenient transfer or viewing of images on laptops, desktop computers and televisions with USB ports. Other features include a 3x optical zoom lens and 2.7’ high definition LCD screen.

Fashionable accessories come standard with each camera. These include a designer leather camera purse and elegant wrist and neck straps.

The GE Create by Jason Wu collection incorporates two models – Create 1000 and Create 2000. All cameras will make their runway debut at the Digital Life Expo to be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 4 – 6 June 2010.
