Leaf Aptus-II 10R 56 MP Digital Camera Back

leaf20100331.jpgLeaf are happy to announce the availability of the new Leaf Aptus-II 10R 56 MP medium format digital camera back with an internal rotating sensor, the newest addition to the Leaf Aptus-II product family. Designed for medium and large format photographers that often need to change orientation during a shoot, the Leaf Aptus-II 10R is available for 6x6 cameras, and is best suited for architecture, landscape, portrait and product advertising.

The internally rotating sensor enables you to keep the camera upright, while quickly shifting orientation, without removing, shutting down or turning the camera back - saving time, preventing sensor exposure to the elements, and avoiding other issues related to digital back removal and rotation.

When shooting handheld, you don't have to take the digital back off the camera to change orientation. This minimizes the interference to the shoot flow, making portraiture smoother and faster.

The Leaf Aptus-II 10R 56 MP sensor is 56x36 mm in dimensions, and can capture the full width for either landscape or portrait setups. Whether shooting handheld or with the camera mounted on a tripod, there is now no need to remove the back to change camera orientation.

The back with a sensor that is rotated internally addresses issues familiar to medium and large-format photographers. For example, rotating the sensor internally eliminates the need for an adapter plate which increases the risk of mis-alignment.

Like the Leaf Aptus-II 10, this system offers superior image quality
