Manfrotto Baby Lightweight Stands

Baby Lightweight Stands are the ideal Lighting Support stands for kits, locations and studio work thanks to their light weight and compact size. Available in four models providing a range in size between 240 cm and 385 cm (extended), with payloads between 4 kg and 10kg. The bi-injection casting provides the photographer with a better ergonomic grip, while the new air cushioned system prevents any loads from unexpectedly “crashing” down while the handles are unlocked, enabling safer usage of your tools of trade.

Portability is the essence with the new Quick Stack System (QSS) patented by Manfrotto. With a combination of the most innovative technical solutions and a unique design, it enables you to attach one stand to another (as many as you like). The QSS saves a lot of room in the studio or when transporting your lighting equipment. By pushing on the new locking device, you are able to detach a stand and set up quickly.

For most applications photographers will use the 1051BAC and 1052BAC models. These two stands use “Adapto” a technical polymer specifically developed by Manfrotto that’s 50% lighter than aluminium, for the collars and spider castings. Heavier lighting equipment or for a taller reach, Manfrotto have the 1004BAC and 1005BAC models, with rated payloads of 9kg and 10kg respectively.
