Minolta Zoom 110 Camera

The Minolta Zoom 110 is built on the premise that style and performance need not be costly. This new compact camera provides hobby photographers with everything they need to capture images of family and friends, special events and places of interest. And al-though eminently affordable, the Zoom 110 includes a variety of value-added features that make life easier for the casual photographer.

Pleasing, practical design
The Minolta Zoom 110 is a stylishly small and lightweight camera measuring a mere 11.4 x 6.25 x 4.6 cm and weighing in at only 185 g - compact enough to fit into any pocket and most handbags. The curved, sculpted grip and metallic finish make the camera easy to hold and a pleasure to use, not least be-cause it has the looks of a much more expensive product.

Value-added performance
With a built-in 38-110 mm lens, the Minolta Zoom 110 offers excellent value for money. The 2.9X zoom range underlines this camera's versatility and with a thousand focusing steps, you can be sure of sharp images at all focal lengths.

The Minolta Zoom 110's affordable price tag does not come at the expense of attractive features for the casual photographer. For example, the smooth and quiet operation of the zoom or a film-chamber lock that prevents the camera from being opened accidentally. An ISO range of 25-3200 means this camera can take advantage of today's high-speed print films. And people who wear glasses will appreciate the fact that a long eye relief feature makes the viewfinder easy to see.

Shooting snap-shots under less than ideal conditions can be a challenge. Here the Minolta Zoom 110 has a number of helpful features. The flash automatically fires in low light, the night por-trait flash mode balances ambient and flash exposure so the subject is visible against a night background, and the land-scape/night view mode makes scenic shots easier day or night. The problem of ghoulish-looking eyes in portrait photos is also minimised by the red-eye reduction lamp.

Performance and style at an affordable price: this compact camera is going places - in more ways than one.
The Minolta Zoom 110 is due to be released in February 2003.
