Minolta Zoom 130c Camera

Matching high performance with affordability, the Zoom 130c is Minolta's latest compact camera in a trendy, aesthetic body. Not typically included in cameras of this price range, the built-in 38mm to 130mm zoom lens makes it a wonderfully versatile camera for landscapes and portraits. Proving that great pictures do not require complex, expensive equipment, this compact camera makes photography simple and fun.

The aluminum faceplate and lens mount make the Minolta Zoom 130c both distinctive and durable. With a curved sculpted grip and metallic finish, the camera is easy to hold and has the appearance of a more expensive product.

Ideal for the casual shooter, the Minolta Zoom 130c includes value-added features such as the film-chamber lock to prevent accidental openings and ruining the film. The long eye relief makes the viewfinder image easy to see for eyeglass wearers.

Minolta Zoom 130c's built-in flash and auto-exposure system instantly adjust to the amount of available light. The flash automatically fires in low light, and the red-eye reduction lamp minimizes unsightly red-eye. The night portrait flash mode balances the ambient exposure with the flash exposure so the subject can be seen against the backdrop of a night scene. The landscape/night view mode is ideal for shooting scenic attractions during the day or night. Fill flash can be used to soften harsh shadows caused by direct sunlight, and the flash can be turned off to preserve natural lighting or when flash photography is prohibited.

Useful for self-portraits, the self-timer conveniently delays the release of the shutter for ten seconds. The optional RC-3 remote control can be used with the quartz-date model to trip the shutter from up to five meters away (16.5 ft.).

Sales start at the beginning of September 2004.
