The DiMAGE E323 was an interesting camera to review. The camera appears to be aimed at either a teenage age or general female market. The light blue colour and styling is a different approach to many of the camera manufacturers competing for market share, as this may be an avenue that could pay off for Minolta's invested time and research... 

Minolta has released another addition in the DiMAGE series producing the X20 model. Claimed to be the fastest loading digital camera with an optical zoom, this new digital camera has many similarities to the higher end Xt model. Sporting most of the Xt's features, including the movie recording option... 

At a glance, the F300 with its aluminium body finish & stainless steel lens rings gives the camera a good solid feel. The camera is loaded up with plenty of features, the best of all a 5.0 mega pixel capture combined with a sharp Minolta GT lens. The viewfinder is bright, but a little small at 9mm... 

The new Xt has turned out to be a great 'little' camera for the 3 mega pixel range. My first impression was "Great, this camera will fit perfectly into my shirt pocket without being noticed". Minolta, in keeping with it's stylish new DiMAGE range has maintained its policy of a high quality... 

On opening the packaging my first impressions were, the camera looked like a SLR should and weighed in nicely for even balance. It's black exterior finish covering a solid aluminium body also gives the camera a solid feel. The 7Hi's comfortable handling and easily accessible control panel on the back would satisfy most 'prosumers' in the maket.
