Minolta has released another addition in the DiMAGE series producing the X20 model. Claimed to be the fastest loading digital camera with an optical zoom, this new digital camera has many similarities to the higher end Xt model. Sporting most of the Xt's features, including the movie recording option (limited only by the memory card size) through to the body design.

The main two differences is the X20 has a 2 megapixel capture and no optical viewfinder, eventhough there is room for one! A nice added extra is the battery requirement which uses regular AA sized batteries (which should be a standard feature for all cameras in this range). The menu navigation is the easiest I have used to date and will prove very user-friendly for first time digital camera buyers, and at almost half the retail price of the higher Xt model you can't go wrong.
