CASIO have today announced the release of a Firmware Update Software Version 1.01 for the
Casio EX-Z1000. The improvements provided by this update V1.00-V1.01 fix a problem that very
rarely would cause incorrect color reproduction in images recorded in overcast weather, and
other outdoor conditions with poor lighting.To check if your camera needs the upgrade you can follow the steps below: To check your firmware version On your EX-Z1000 camera, hold down the [MENU] button as you press the [POWER ON/OFF] switch to turn on the camera. Keep [MENU] depressed until the version of your camera's firmware appears on the monitor screen. 1. If "Ver.1.00" appears, you need to download this update software and install it on your camera. 2. If "Ver.1.01" appears, it means that your camera already is running the latest firmware version, so you do not need to install this update.
