We're looking for people interested in writing practical and creative tips for all levels of photographers, from hobbyists through to professionals. If you think you've got the knack to write up detailed articles about anything from how to compose great photographs to something a little technical, or you're simply a whiz in Photoshop and want to write about a techique or two that could assist many thousands of readers, then we want to hear from you!


We do not gaurantee every article submitted to us will be published, however if you've covered a topic that is yet to be published on in the Photography Tips category, you stand a very good chance of seeing your writing up in Hollywood lights!

Feel free to write about any other topics not listed above. The above subjects are just to get you thinking!


Conditions of article submission

- Articles must be 800-1500 words

- Articles must be accompanied by a minimum of 3 images (where applicable).

  - - Image 1: 250 pixels wide by whatever high, saved as jpg at 60% compression. (for inside article)

  - - Image 2: 65 pixels high by whatever wide, saved as jpg at 30% compression. (for homepage)

- Images supplied must be the writers own and not copyrighted / watermarked in any way.

- Article copy must be submitted as a Microsoft Word [.doc] document only. Use Arial 10pt font only. Avoid all other formatting other than Bolding texting and bullet points.

- Article must not contain references to articles published elsewhere on the internet.
- Articles are not allowed to be published elsewhere on the web. Search engines will pick this up in a snap and penalise the strength of the article from a traffic perspect. If you have an article published elsewhere, and want to submit a similar article please rewrite every word and do not sample any of the original, search engines can not be fooled.

- Articles must be written by the writer submitting the article.
- Articles will remain published on indefinitely.


How to submit an article

First up we'd love to hear from you via email using our contact page - or 'mail [at]'. Please select from the drop down box 'News Article Submissions' and add your phone details to the description area with your introduction. Once we've established who you are, what you would like to write about (even if they're new whacky, super creative left of centre ideas) we can then move on to the fun stuff. We look forward hearing from you!
