Kodak Australia has today launched two new additions to its All-in-One inkjet printer range, the ESP3 and ESP5. Both printers come packaged with Kodak’s exclusive photo editing software feature, Facial Retouch, and offer the latest in design and technology while saving consumers up to 50 per cent on all their printing costs. 

Inkjet Systems Product Manager for Australia and New Zealand, David Santer says: “Kodak’s new range of products were developed in response to recent research which showed there is a huge consumer demand for high quality, affordable home printing.”

According to the most recent research released by Kodak, 70 per cent of people limit their home printing because of the cost of ink. The research also found users primarily looked for four key features when purchasing a home printer – lower cost cartridges, higher print quality, ease-of-use and affordability.

Kodak ESP3 and ESP5 AiO printers
The KODAK ESP3 and ESP5 are the newest inkjet printers added to the AiO portfolio and offer the latest in design and performance, providing a high-quality, easy-to-use printing system at great value for consumers.

The ESP5 features a 3” colour LCD screen, multiple card and USB readers and one-touch, PC-free print, copy and scan functions meaning consumers can view, edit and print with or without a computer. The ESP5 is also the first of Kodak’s range of printers to be awarded with an energy efficient rating.

Working with Kodak’s intelligent photo papers and pigmented inks, which have been credited with Wilhelm’s tick of approval for permanence, consumers can print up to two times more photos and documents for their money* - without compromising on quality that will lasts a lifetime.

Facial Retouch Software
Kodak’s new Facial Retouch editing software means consumers can create clearer photos by enhancing facial features and reducing the appearance of skin irregularities. The software, exclusive to Kodak, automatically detects people in pictures and allows users control over which faces to retouch. With just one click, several enhancements are applied to improve the facial features of people in photos – including texture enhancer, skin tone smoothing, blemish removal, as well as subtle eye and teeth whitening, with up to four levels of intensity. Facial Retouch comes packaged with the ESP3 and ESP5 printers, or is available for download – free of charge – from www.kodak.com.

Availability and Price
The new Kodak ESP3 and ESP5 AiO inkjet printers will be available nationally from June1st and July 1st, respectively. The recommended retail price is AUD159 for the ESP3 and AUD199 for the ESP5.
