At a glance, the F300 with its aluminium body finish & stainless steel lens rings gives the camera a good solid feel. The camera is loaded up with plenty of features, the best of all a 5.0 mega pixel capture combined with a sharp Minolta GT lens. The viewfinder is bright, but a little small at 9mm. Low image capture saves to the memory card quickly, although the high end 5.0 mega pixel files set on 'super fine' quality takes closer to 5 seconds between shooting images (although the results are fantastic). There are number of great digital control options too, coupled with various compensation modes in flash, exposure and focus. Overall the camera is easy to use, slick looking and will provide more than satifactory results for existing digital camera users upgrading and first time buyers.
